This Privacy Policy explains how WebOwer ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit webower.com or otherwise contact us. We process only the minimum amount of data necessary, for clearly defined purposes, and we never sell your data to third parties.

3. Data We Collect
Contact form submissions
When you submit the contact form we collect: name, email address, phone number (optional), subject, and your message, together with the submission's IP address and browser user-agent string (used only for spam/abuse prevention). This data is stored securely in our own database and used exclusively to respond to your enquiry.
Automatically collected data
When you visit our website, our server and analytics tools may collect: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, pages visited, referring URL, and time of visit. Analytics data is only collected in this way if you have given your consent (see Cookies below).
Cookies
We use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time via the cookie banner or the Cookie Settings page.

5. Data Retention
Contact form submissions that do not lead to a client relationship are retained for 2 years from submission, after which they are permanently deleted. Data relating to an active or completed client project is retained for as long as required to perform the contract, and afterwards in line with our statutory bookkeeping/invoicing obligations (currently 8 years under Hungarian accounting law for invoices). You may request earlier deletion of non-mandatory data at any time (see Section 7).
6. Data Processors and Recipients
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Depending on the service you use, your data may be processed by:
- Our hosting provider — stores the infrastructure our website and database run on; does not otherwise access or use the content.
- Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics) — only if you have actively consented to analytics cookies; IP addresses are truncated/anonymised by Google Analytics.
- Authorities (e.g. tax authority, courts) where required by law.
We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area, except where a sub-processor above (such as Google) operates under an EU-approved transfer mechanism (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict processing of your data
- Data portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
